Man City won their fourth title in five years on Sunday and, as you’d expect, celebrations were big. On the open-top bus the next day, plenty of the players were hiding their eyes behind sunglasses. Now, Manchester isn’t known for its sun, so it’s pretty safe to say these shades were hiding some worse for wear eyes.
In amongst the chosen shades were some classic styles. Kevin DeBruyne had on a pair of clear d-frame-style glasses, Kyle Walker had some John Lennon style circle lens shades, and Aymeric Laporte had on a flash pair of aviators. Perhaps the stand-out pair were Jack Grealish’s Gucci Sunglasses.

Jack Grealish wore a pair of Gucci GG1034S sunglasses on the Man City open-top bus tour. The shades were notable due to their small tear-drop shape lenses, thin gold frame, and distinctive details around the bridge.
You have to zoom in to see, but the shades also have hoops on the outside edge of the lenses that you can connect a chain to. Grealish wasn’t wearing the chain, however.

It makes a lot of sense that the player would choose these shades. The player is fresh from signing a new contract as a Gucci ambassador.
And while there was plenty of speculation about whether the star has the fashion chops to pull off the deal, there’s no denying that the shades suit him well. He’s also got form for wearing shades with small lenses and a thin metal frame.
If you want to copy the look, the Jack Grealish sunglasses are currently available from Sunglasses Hut, which is one of the official online retailers for Gucci shades. You can check them out here.
